Description of Uncut Rough Diamond for sale No. 73016:

Details: Diamond (3.35 carat colorless cavernous cubic uncut diamond).
Location of origin: Diavik Mine, East Island, Lac de Gras, Northwest Territories, Canada.
Description: Lustrous transparent colorless uncut diamond exhibiting rare cavernous cubic form with raised crystal edges and depressed centers in the faces (hoppered). In the trade these cavernous crystals are known as inversion, or negative crystals. No damage. Fluoresces yellow under 365 nm longwave UV illumination.
Overall size: 8x8x7 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 8 mm
Price: $2515 net (plus shipping).
