Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 73075:

Minerals Species: Quartz (parallel growth)and Cookeite over Milky Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Tamminen Quarry, Greenwood, Oxford County, Maine.
Description: Many parallel lustrous doubly-terminated transparent pale-smoky quartz crystals to 19 mm on a 60 mm milky quartz crystal with play aggregates of smaller translucent white doubly-terminated quartz crystals to 2 mm and tan colored cookeite microcrystals. No damage. From the collection of Frank C. Perham (b. 1934-), namesake of the mineral species Perhamite.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7.5x5x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 60 mm
Price: $65 (plus shipping).
