Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 73382:

Minerals Species: Barite.
Location of mineral deposit: Jedová Hora (Giftberg), Bohemia, Czech Republic.
Description: Old specimen of lustrous transparent-to-translucent yellow-gray barite crystals over translucent white barite. The barite crystals are tabular rectangular form with {101} edge faces and many of the crystals exhibit internal phantom-growth zoning. Though the crystals are clean and in good condition, a few show damage upon close inspection, but they are minor compared to the relative size of the specimen. Ex. W. Keller #6183; ex. Argentum Auctions November 12, 1994 Harvard Auction Lot #139, collected pre-1900.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x5x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-13 mm
Price: $65 (plus shipping).
