Mineral Species: Vanadinite pseudomorphs after Wulfenite. Location of mineral deposit: Rowley Mine, near Theba, Maricopa County, Arizona. Description: Lustrous translucent orange-brown vanadinite pseudomorphs after bladed wulfenite crystals to 14 mm mounted in a Perky box for protection. Thin wulfenite crystals formed first, then were overgrown with vanadinite in flat, platy epimorphs. Collected ca. 1980. Overall size of mineral specimen: 17x12x8 mm.
