Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 76906:

Mineral Species: Smithsonite.
Location of origin: Choix, Sinaloa, Mexico.
Description: Lustrous translucent purple smithsonite crystals in rounded aggregates over a core of gray matrix. The surfaces of the smithsonite crystal aggregates are composed of many smaller crystal faces giving a satin-like luster. Collected ca. 1975.
Overall size: 3x2.5x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-3 mm
Price: $26 (plus shipping).
