Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 78074:

Mineral Species: Calcite twinned crystals with Marcasite inclusions.
Location of origin: Linwood Mine, Buffalo, Scott County, Iowa.
Description: Superb cluster of lustrous transparent calcite crystals with small yellow-metallic marcasite inclusions and no attached matrix. The calcite crystals are V-twinned and are colorless with yellow internal phantom-growth zones. No damage. Collected ca. 2018.
Overall size: 6.5x6x4.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 60 mm
Price: $650 net (plus shipping).
