Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 80288:

Mineral Species: Fluorite (internally color zoned).
Location of origin: Xia Yang, Yongchun, Quanzhou, Fujian, China.
Description: Lustrous transparent fluorite crystals on gray quartz-rich matrix. The fluorite crystal form is a combination of cubic and dodecahedral faces. The fluorite is internally zoned with blue-gray outer zones over purple core zones. Most of the crystals are complete and undamaged, but a few around the periphery are incomplete. Ex. D. Miller Collection #M3687; acquired in 2016.
Overall size: 9.5x8.5x5.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 10-36 mm
Price: $225 (plus shipping).
