Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 80396:

Mineral Species: Vanadinite on Fe-Mn-oxide.
Location of origin: Taouz, Er Rachidia, Meknes-Tafilalet, Morocco.
Description: Many lustrous translucent brown vanadinite crystals to 5 mm on stalactitic black formations of oxides of iron and manganese. These vanadinite formations are usually inaccurately described as being on goethite, but is actually a mixture of oxide minerals. No damage. Ex. Miller #3105; originally acquired in 2015.
Overall size: 6x3.5x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 4 mm
Price: $225 (plus shipping).
