Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 80457:

Mineral Species: Quartz var. Amethyst Flower.
Location of origin: Alto Uruguai, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
Description: Thin fan-shaped formation of lustrous pale to purple amethyst quartz crystals. These formations are commonly called Amethyst Flowers because of their resemblance to flowers. One amethyst crystal in the center has deeper purple color than others. No damage. Ex. Miller #D251.
Overall size: 8.5x7x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-16 mm
Price: $48 (plus shipping).
