| Mineral Species: Ferberite. Location of origin: Yaogangxian Mine, 32 km southeast of Chenzhou, Hunan, China. Description: Parallel bladed lustrous black-metallic ferberite crystals to 75 mm with no matrix attached. The ferberite crystals have striated prism faces, with pointed terminations, and have a dull luster on the rear faces. Three crystals are chipped on the rear. Ex. Miller #M1487; ex. Jim Minette (1936-2002) private collection. Overall size: 8.5x4.5x3 cm. Size of individual crystals: 35-75 mm Price: $175 (plus shipping).
