| Mineral Species: Schorl Tourmaline. Location of origin: Erongo Mountains, 20 km north of Usakos, Damaraland, Namibia. Description: Complex cluster of many intersecting striated lustrous black schorl tourmaline crystals with no matrix attached. The cluster is crystallized all around, with contact on the bottom where the schorl crystals were attached. The specimen formed in a cavity with many crystals intersecting in all directions. Most crystals are complete except in areas where they intersected adjacent crystals in the cavity. Ex. Miller #M489. Overall size: 5x4x2.5 cm.
