Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 80862:

Mineral Species: Quartz.
Location of origin: Patch Mine, Central City, Gilpin County, Colorado.
Description: Three lustrous transparent-to-translucent colorless quartz crystals with no matrix attached. The quartz crystal terminations are glassy and one shows a milky phantom-growth zone internally. The prism faces have overgrowth of small quartz crystals. The termination of the crystal is chipped. Ex. Miller #M529.
Overall size: 5.5x3x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 55 mm
Price: $24 (plus shipping).
