Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81567:

Mineral Species: Gold (native gold).
Location of origin: Bald Mountain, Sonora District, Tuolumne County, California.
Description: Uncommonly large formation of lustrous yellow-metallic native gold crystals (naturally occurring gold crystals) with no matrix. Several large gold crystal are visible in a recessed area. Note the rectangular impressions where the gold grew around quartz. No damage. Weight: 29.2 grams. Ex. Claude Huber Collection.
Overall size: 42x30x17 mm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 2.1 mm
Price: $5975 net (plus shipping).
