Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81647:

Mineral Species: Silver (naturally crystallized native silver wire crystals) on Calcite.
Location of origin: Guanajuato, Mexico.
Description: Twisted wire-shaped gray-metallic silver crystals intermixed translucent colorless rhombohedral calcite microcrystals. The silver has a bright metallic luster, but will eventually tarnish and need periodic cleaning (or be mounted in a sealed container). No damage. Total Weight: 1.1 grams.
Overall size: 17x11x7 mm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 1 mm
Price: $34 (plus shipping).
