Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81670:

Mineral Species: Prehnite pseudomorphs after Anhydrite with Laumontite.
Location of origin: Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey.
Description: Thin formation of translucent green prehnite epimorphs after anhydrite crystals to 10 mm with a few white laumontite crystals to 3 mm. The anhydrite crystallized first, was overgrown with prehnite, then the anhydrite dissolved leaving hollow molds. No damage. Collected 22 May 1995.
Overall size: 4x2x1.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 5-10 mm pseudos
Price: $18 (plus shipping).
