Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81704:

Mineral Species: Quartz with Chlorite on Calcite.
Location of origin: Naica District, Saucillo, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Description: Lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystals to 25 mm that are colored green by chlorite inclusions on rhombohedral pale-yellow calcite crystals to 22 with slender translucent gray calcite crystals to 24 mm coated with quartz microcrystals. No damage. From my personal collection. Ex. M. Pollinger collection #1669. The calcite fluoresces orange under 365 nm LW UV illumination.
Overall size: 8.5x6.5x6 cm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 25 mm
Price: $375 (plus shipping).
