Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81737:

Mineral Species: Quartz var. Herkimer Diamond.
Location of origin: Herkimer Diamond Development Mine, Middleville, Herkimer County, New York.
Description: Lustrous top-quality transparent Herkimer Diamond quartz crystal, the doubly-terminated variety of quartz from the Herkimer area, with exceptional internal clarity and only a few small internal flaws and inclusions. Complete and undamaged except the contact where it was formerly attached to surrounding matrix. Ex. Miller collection T1526; collected in 2011.
Overall size: 24x19x16 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 24 mm
Price: $65 (plus shipping).
