Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81796:

Mineral Species: Malachite (fibrous).
Location of origin: Kolwezi Mining District, 240 km WNW of Lubumbashi, Katanga Copperbelt, Lualaba Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Description: Compact crystallized mass of fibrous green malachite crystals with no apparent point of attachment. The fibrous structure of the malachite results in chatoyant luster. Ex. Miller collection T1544.
Overall size: 32x17x12 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 4-12 mm
Price: $16 (plus shipping).
