Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81838:

Mineral Species: Vanadinite on Barite.
Location of origin: Mibladen, Haute Moulouya Basin, Zeida-Aouli-Mibladen belt, Midelt Province, Morocco.
Description: Vivid-orange lustrous transparent vanadinite crystals to 1 mm on bladed white barite crystals to 12 mm. The vanadinite crystals are tabular hexagonal form with small secondary {110} prism faces on the edges. No damage is visible to the unaided eye, but minor damage is visible under 20x magnification. Ex. Miller collection T1070; ex. Betts #71116; collected in 2001.
Overall size: 3.5x2.5x1.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 12 mm
Price: $18 (plus shipping).
