Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81945:

Mineral Species: Quartz var. Smoky Scepter Formation.
Location of origin: Intergalactic Pit, Deer Hill, Stow, Oxford County, Maine.
Description: Lustrous transparent smoky quartz crystal exhibiting scepter habit (larger crystal overgrown in parallel orientation on a smaller stem of quartz). The smoky quartz crystal has unusual stepped surfaces on the tip, where it intersected an adjacent crystal. Ex. Miller collection T2756; collected in 2000.
Overall size: 32x26x18 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 26 mm
Price: $24 (plus shipping).
