Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81952:

Mineral Species: Rhodochrosite, Pyrite, Tetrahedrite, Quartz.
Location of origin: Pachapaqui District, Bolognesi Province, Ancash Department, Peru.
Description: Pale pink rhodochrosite crystals in coarse aggregates to 8 mm across intermixed with lustrous yellow-metallic pyrite crystals to 5 mm, black-metallic triangular (tetrahedral) tetrahedrite crystals to 4 mm on milky quartz crystals to 4 mm. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix. Ex. Miller collection T1284.
Overall size: 28x20x11 mm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 8 mm
Price: $28 (plus shipping).
