Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82093:

Mineral Species: Beryl var. Aquamarine.
Location of origin: Slievenamiskan, Spelga, County Down, Ireland.
Description: Lustrous transparent blue-green 24 mm aquamarine crystal, the blue-green gem variety of the mineral species beryl, from an obscure Irish locality. The aquamarine crystals is hexagonal form with flat termination modified by secondary edge faces. No damage. Weight: 1.9 grams. Collected by John and Robert Lawson.
Overall size: 24x7x5 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 24 mm
Price: $595 net (plus shipping).
