Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82231:

Mineral Species: Barite with Kaolinite inclusions.
Location of origin: Book Cliffs, north of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado.
Description: Lustrous transparent colorless barite crystal with cloud-like white kaolinite inclusions on one face. The barite crystal is water-clear making the inclusions easily visible through the barite. The inclusions caused internal stress cleavage. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear. Ex. Miller collection T3512.
Overall size: 28x9x7 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 28 mm
Price: $22 (plus shipping).
