Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82249:

Mineral Species: Barite.
Location of origin: Book Cliffs, north of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado.
Description: Two intergrown barite crystals in parallel orientation resulting in two crystal terminations, one above the other. The barite crystals are transparent, colorless, with glassy crystal faces. The rear corner of the top termination is incomplete. Ex. Miller collection T638; ex. Betts #7781; ex. Robert P. Bates (1926-2008) Collection #746.
Overall size: 32x17x14 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 23-32 mm
Price: $38 (plus shipping).
