Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82274:

Mineral Species: Azurite.
Location of origin: Bisbee, Warren District, Cochise County, Arizona.
Description: Lustrous translucent dark-blue azurite crystals over a core of brown limonite gossan. The azurite crystals are twisted rhombohedral form, and have textured surfaces composed of smaller parallel crystal faces. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear. Ex. Miller collection T634; ex. Betts #57555; ex. Roy A. Smith (1935-2014) collection, originally acquired in 1991 from Neal A. Pfaff (1947-2013).
Overall size: 33x27x22 mm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 20 mm
Price: $175 (plus shipping).
