Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82417:

Mineral Species: Schorl Tourmaline (etched crystals).
Location of origin: Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Description: Sculptural formation of lustrous black schorl tourmaline crystals that have complex shape, apparently the result of the schorl partially dissolving along the crystallization structure. Complete and undamaged except the contact where it was formerly attached to surrounding matrix. Ex. Miller collection T2656.
Overall size: 32x28x15 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 10-25 mm
Price: $35 (plus shipping).
