Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82424:

Mineral Species: Tyuyamunite.
Location of origin: Carlin Trend, Eureka County, Nevada.
Description: Microscopic yellow tyuyamunite microcrystals on gray sandstone. Tyuyamunite, Ca(UO?)?V?O?·H?O, is a rare hydrated calcium-uranium-vanadate that occurs in secondary uranium-vanadium deposits. Radioactive. Ex. Miller collection T978; collected ca. 1970.
Overall size: 30x21x12 mm.
Size of individual crystals: micro
Price: $15 (plus shipping).
