| Mineral Species: Spodumene var. Kunzite. Location of origin: Mawi Pegmatite, Nuristan Province, Afghanistan. Description: Lustrous transparent pale-pink kunzite crystal, the pink gem variety of the mineral spodumene, fully crystallized on all surfaces and terminated on both ends. The kunzite has complex parallel faces on a few sides that reflect simultaneously. No damage. Fluoresces orange under LW UV illumination. Weight: 5.4 grams. Ex. Miller collection T2282. Overall size: 37x12x9 mm. Size of individual crystals: 37 mm Price: $55 (plus shipping).
