Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82494:

Mineral Species: Epidote.
Location of origin: Tormiq area, northwest of Skardu, Haramosh Mountains, Baltistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.
Description: Lustrous doubly-terminated (floater) green-brown transparent epidote crystal with no matrix. The epidote has a steep chisel-shaped termination on top and complex lower termination on the bottom composed of many smaller parallel faces. Most crystal faces are clean and undamaged, but one corner is bruised. Ex. Miller collection T3906; ex. Betts #78337 and 55537.
Overall size: 16x9x5 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 16 mm
Price: $55 (plus shipping).
