Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82604:

Mineral Species: Azurite.
Location of origin: Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico.
Description: Complex cluster of many intersecting dark-blue azurite crystals, fully crystallized all around, with no matrix attached. The azurite crystals are thin which allows better than usual translucency. The specimen formed in a cavity with many crystals intersecting in all directions. Most crystals are complete except in areas where they intersected adjacent crystals in the cavity. Ex. Miller collection T994; ex. Betts #68875; collected in 2015.
Overall size: 15x10x10 mm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 8 mm
Price: $22 (plus shipping).
