| Mineral Species: Elbaite Tourmaline. Location of origin: Stak Nala, Skardu Road, Baltistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Description: Lustrous doubly-terminated transparent green elbaite tourmaline crystals over an earlier generation of translucent green elbaite. The elbaite tourmaline crystals are striated prisms, in parallel orientation. Complete and undamaged except the contact where it was formerly attached to surrounding matrix. Ex. Miller collection T1204; originally acquired ca. 1988. Overall size: 25x13x12 mm. Size of individual crystals: 8-22 mm Price: $40 (plus shipping).
