Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82693:

Mineral Species: Actinolite.
Location of origin: Goshen Stone Co. Quarry, Goshen, Hampshire County, Massachusetts.
Description: Dense intergrown cluster of lustrous green-black actinolite crystals mounted in an acrylic Perky-style display box for protection and easy handling. The actinolite crystals were enclosed in calcite that was etched away to reveal actinolite. Ex. Miller collection T2800; collected in 1993 by Wayne Corwin.
Overall size: 18x8x6 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-6 mm
Price: $18 (plus shipping).
