Mineral:Quartz var. Amethyst and Smoky Quartz
Locality:Old Eastman Prospect, Deer Hill, Maine
Description:Large cluster of milky quartz crystals overgrown with large, dark amethyst crystals. This important specimen was discovered on the original Eastman prospect (not the new Intergalactic Pit). Many of the crystals have kaolinite coating on some faces. Collected 1999.
