Description: | Large cluster of pyrite crystals (up to 8 cm!) with a steel-colored surface coating due to chalcocite. This coating is often incorrectly identified as bravoite. Excellent cluster, no damage. Originally acquired in 1962 from Scott Williams. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #B170 |
