DESCRIPTION:No. 12373
Mineral:Malachite on Calcite
Locality:Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia
Description:Sprays to 2 cm diameter of green acicular malachite crystals mixed in with white calcite crystals to 2 mm. The calcite fluoresces orange under UV illumination. The specimen stands nicely with any additional support.
Overall Size:7x6x6 cm
Crystals:1-10 mm
