Description: | Large cubic purple fluorite crystals up to 6 cm on edge with overgrowth of 2 mm milky quartz crystals. Fully crystallized both sides. On the back where there is no quartz coating the fluorite fluoresces violet under UV. Originally acquired in 1974. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #BL552 |
