Locality:West Cumberland Iron Mining District, Cumbria, England
Description:Translucent, purple fluorite crystals up to 4 cm with overgrowth of siderite crystals on selective faces. The fluorite is lustrous and well crystallized. Minimal damage. Originally acquired from Ward's in 1941. Fluoresces violet under UV illumination. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #R 312
