Mineral:Calcite and Beta-Quartz
Locality:Dalnegorsk, Primorskiy Kray, Russia
Description:Plate of lustrous dipyramidal (beta) quartz crystals up to 14 mm overgrown on regular (prismatic) quartz crystals. Large white rhombic calcite overgrown on top. The calcite fluoresces orange under UV illumination.
