Description: | Metallic pyrite pseudomorphs after hexagonal pyrrhotite crystals up to 20 mm. The pyrite replaced the pyrrhotite molecule by molecule, resulting in transformed composition but retaining the original shape. Ex. A. Stevenson collection #555 |
