Locality:Cavnic Mine (Kapnikbanya), Maramures, Romania
Description:Rectangular cluster of parallel galena crystals up to 2 cm with dark red sphalerite crystals up to, 3 mm grown along the edges of the galena. Minor brassy chalcopyrite. The galena is cubo-octahedral form with many growth patterns on the faces. Undamaged. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #BL 23
