Description:Single crystal of wine-red almandine garnet without matrix. Though there are surface imperfections, the crystal is complete on all faces (a floater). Ex. Earle C. Sullivan (1906-2005), author of History and Minerals of Old Mine Park, Trumbull, Ct.
