Locality:Franklin Mining District, Sussex County, New Jersey (Type Locality for Zincite and Franklinite)
Description:Rich specimen of red zincite in white calcite with minor dark, metallic franklinite. The calcite fluoresces orange under UV illumination. The zincite has large cleavage plates 2 mm thick. Good specimen dating to 1880.
