Description: | Two specimens of zinc ore containing red zincite and dark metallic franklinite. The best specimen has crystals visible up to 6 mm on edge. Good, old time classic dating from the early days of commercial production at this historic locale. Ex. Westtown School (West Chester, Pa.) Collection no. 6447, donated by Walter M. and Alfred B. Jones (1843-?). |
