Locality:West Cumberland Iron Mining District, Cumbria, England
Description:Old specimen (pre-1900) of well crystallized pear spar (ankerite or ferroan dolomite) completely covering knobs of matrix. All crystals complete and undamaged. Minute crystals of another mineral (calcite?) selectively coat the pear spar.
