Description:Old specimen of quartz found in the early years of mineral exploration in Brazil, when German quartz and agate deposits were exhausted forcing the Germans to seek quartz elsewhere. Ex. Westtown School (West Chester, Pa.) Collection no. 6214-15, donated by Walter M. and Alfred B. Jones (1843-?).
