Dates to the early days of agate mining in Brazil, when the German agate beds became exhausted forcing them to obtain agates for carving elsewhere. Ex. Westtown School (West Chester, Pa.) Collection no. 6130-33, donated by Walter M. and Alfred B. Jones (1843-?). |
