Description: | Large complex crystal of leucite without matrix. The specimen was donated to a museum by W.S. Vaux - at one time the greatest collector in the US. This specimen must have been significant at the time, if it was worthy of Vaux. Ex. Westtown School (West Chester, Pa.) Collection no. 6944-45, donated by William Sansom Vaux (1811-1882). |
