Description: | Egg-shaped pyrite concretion found in the old clay pits in the New Jersey lowlands. This is an old specimen, and has been out of the ground for over 100 years, yet shows no deterioration. Ex. Westtown School (West Chester, Pa.) Collection no. 5871 (ca. 1880). |
