Description: | Dark metallic hematite with colorful iridescent rainbows on exposed surfaces with small masses of blood-red, translucent zincite mixed in throughout. Rare. Scattered blebs of pink willemite fluoresce bright green under UV illumination. Ex. Westtown School (West Chester, Pa.) Collection no. 6452 (ca. 1880). |
