Locality:Delaware County, Pennsylvania
Description:Single crystal of smoky-purple amethyst with unusual growth patterns on crystal surfaces. Bottom is sawn flat so that the crystal stands upright without support. Good, well formed crystal with minimal imperfections collected ca. 1880. Ex. Delaware County Institute of Science
